3D Print a Sculpture that will Motivate You to Just Do It
Everyone encounters moments in their lives where they want to achieve something but can't seem to find the motivation or willpower to get going. Whether it's starting a workout program, or quitting your job to start an Art and Engineering business...In these moments, all you need to say is screw it, and do it. That's what this kinetic art piece is all about- making the first move towards achieving your goals.
Using Solidworks, this sculpture is designed to be 3D printed and assembled without the use of any additional components. Whether you're printing on an Ender 3 or a Prusa MK3, all the components are designed with clearances and print quality in mind.
I printed my parts on a Prusa MK3 at 120mm/s, 0.2mm layer height, and 18% infill. This totalled to 12 hours of print time (across 2 builds), and about $4 in total material cost. It shouldn't take much more that 15 minutes to fully assemble if you follow along with this video.
